Terms of Service

This page is maintained by the Tic Tac Touch team to explain the rules for using our app. It is not legal advice. Please review it, and reach out via the contact details at the bottom with any questions before you sign up.

1.Who we are

Tic Tac Touch (“we,” “us,” the “Service”) is a dating app that uses a short tic-tac-toe game to start conversations. These Terms form a binding agreement between you and [Legal entity name, e.g. “Tic Tac Touch, LLC”] (“the Company”), [registered address].

2.Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old.
  • You must have the legal capacity to enter this agreement.
  • You must not be barred from using the Service under applicable law.
  • You must not be a registered sex offender, and you must not have been convicted of a felony or indictable offense involving violence, fraud, or a sexual offense.
  • Your account must be a real person, not a bot or a shared account.

3.Your account

You are responsible for the security of your login credentials and for everything that happens on your account. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that create risk for other users.

4.Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Harass, threaten, stalk, dox, or impersonate anyone.
  • Post nudity, sexually explicit content involving minors, or illegal content.
  • Use the Service for commercial solicitation, spam, or scams.
  • Ask other users for money, gifts, or off-platform payment.
  • Share another person’s private information without consent.
  • Circumvent safety features, bans, moderation, or the game mechanics (bots, automation, reverse engineering, scraping).
  • Upload someone else’s photos or misrepresent your identity.

We use automated moderation on messages and profile fields. We may remove content or restrict accounts at our discretion when we believe these rules were broken.

5.Your content

You keep ownership of the photos, text, answers, and messages you post (“Your Content”). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process Your Content to operate and improve the Service, and to enforce these Terms. This license ends when you delete the content, except for backups and content already shared with other users.

6.Photo verification

Verification is optional. When you submit a verification photo, we store it privately and use it only to confirm that the photos on your profile show the same person. A reviewer or automated system may compare the images. We may show a “verified” badge on approved profiles.

7.Safety and reports

You can block, unmatch, or report any user from their profile or a chat. We take reports seriously but cannot promise a specific outcome. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services.

8.Paid features

The core app is free today. If we introduce paid features or subscriptions, pricing, renewal, refund, and cancellation terms will be shown before you buy and added to these Terms.

9.Termination

You can delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if we’re required to by law, or if we stop operating the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability, disputes) will survive.

10.Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We don’t verify every user, and we can’t guarantee that anyone you meet through the app is who they say they are. Use your judgment and take normal safety precautions when meeting people offline.

11.Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, the Company is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for the actions of other users. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or [US $100]. Some jurisdictions don’t allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

12.Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of [state / country of the Company]. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of [venue], unless local consumer laws in your jurisdiction require otherwise. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that can’t be waived by contract.

13.Changes

We may update these Terms. When we do, we’ll change the effective date at the top and, for material changes, notify you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the Service after changes means you accept them.
